All piker (nooner) race participants please answer the above poll. If you're not in the current racing line-up, please refrain from answering.

Thanks,

Ben,

For clarity, what are we voting on here?

The next race being 2S or 3S?

Or for the whole (next) season to be 2S or 3S?

Voted!

Possibly we could also run a brushed 400 class?...
Yea 400W/lb should about do it.. But wouldn't a nice round 500 be better?

My understanding is that we're voting on general interest in a 2s class. Personally I don't think we can just change the current season to 2s. If we do, I'm out (I don't have a 2s pack ready to go).

I agree with trying 2S, but think it should be organised as a trial.  NOT part of the existing race series.

My reasons for this are that not everyone has 2S lipos (more $), the weight limit may not be met (with lighter batteries), different props would be required for people to be competitive (more $), and some (lower kV) motors may not be well suited to 2S racing due to the available prop sizes, and hence would no longer be competitive.

I am open to 2S racing,  but feel that since we are mid season in the current 3S series, we should not change anything impacting the current rules.
