On June 28th & 29th, the Kingston R/C modellers are hosting our 19th Annual Electric Fun Fly. There are directions and further info on the MAAC site, (which I cannot seem to link to this post.)

I haven't been active on this forum this year as the demise of my big Aviatik kinda took the wind out of my sails, but I am planning to test fly my 1/4 Nieuport 17 this week so that it will be flying by the funfly. Hopefully a bunch of the TEMAC club will be able to make it. The format is the same as in past years, no events, fun trophies, float fly at Wilf's Saturday evening, (weather permitting) and dinner at a local establishment, (East Side Mario's the past few years.) There will be a full canteen with BBQ food both days.

Sorry about your Aviatik.

So far, 3 other 1/4 scale biplanes should be coming from Toronto.

Yep!  looking forward to it, Martin!

Just today, there was mention of a one day wind tunnel trip to San Diego on the 27th!!!!... meaning I wouldn't be flying back until the 28th!!!!

I said "F THAT!  That's the most important weekend in my annual calendar!  Get someone else!"

I plan to be there with my Se5a, refurbished CL-215 Water Bomber, Sparrow Hawk, Zero, and Macchi M-33... as well as a couple other planes to fill in the empty spaces in my trailer.

All you TEMACers should make plans to attend.  It's really a great "guys weekend" away full of flying, great people, a great facility, and great food... including breakfast at the field on both days.

From TEMAC, we usually have Michael, Ben, Greg H, Colin, Ken R., Andre and dad Eric, Glenn, Jack, and myself.  Who else is coming this year?  Many of us travel to Kingston on the Friday and stay until late Sunday.  Some of us camp at the field.  Other stay at the "Wilton Hilton"  http://www.wiltonroad.com/

Be careful... it's always too close, no matter how far...

Are you going to Kingston this year, Alan?  I hope you can make it!

Saturday night flying is on if the weather is OK.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again this year.

The weather in Kingston, for the weekend, is looking to be perfect!

It's going to be a fantastic weekend of flying, float flying, and hangin' out with friends.  I look forward to the Kingston fun fly as one of the main events of the summer for me.  It's a great "Guys Weekend" away with nothing but flying and fun.

I hope to see lots of TEMAC members there!

Got my van packed. Will charge batteries tomorrow and head out about 7am Sat morning. Taking my Icon A5 for some float flying Sat night. Looking forward to seeing the crew.

Hey Martin!  Thanks again for hosting such an awesome event!  I'm already looking forward to the 20th anniversary Kingston Electric Fun fly next year.  Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

My first priority will be to get more people from Toronto to attend.  They don't know what they're missing!
