It's been a busy week, this week.  On Wednesday we had a wonderful update from Ben on the Apollo 17 mission project.  Ben's accomplishment is incredible, the subject matter is literally out-of-this-world, and the presentation was fascinating.  Thanks Ben.

On Saturday we had success with Ryerson.  One of the teams managed to see their pilot fly not only their primary project aircraft, but also the reserve aircraft too.  Congrats!  Unfortunately the second team did not manage to launch their glider from the Quad, so it's back to make some revisions.  Fingers crossed for attempt #2.

Sunday saw 25 members attend Jack Higgins' Estate Auction.  Michael ran a wonderful event, and was very kind to donate his space.  I want to thank Andy, Andre, Frank, Graham and Greg H for all their help sorting, setting up, counting and clearing up, to make the event the success it was.  A very large sum was raised in honour of Jack.  Please all spare a thought for Mary, for her kind donation of Jack's hobby equipment.  The club will thank Mary, on all our behalves.

Finally, please plan to come to the field on Saturday 19th at 9:30am for our Spring clean up.  The work we've done in past years has resulted in a longer flying season for us all.  Without the driveway improvements and drainage maintenance, we wouldn't be driving in to the field this early!  Please, bring rakes, seed spreaders, forks and wellies (boots) - in return for your time, we'll supply the coffee and doughnuts!

Take care, maybe see you at build class on Wednesday (16th)?
