55" Longstick light weight aerobatic plane
« on: March 07, 2017, 11:52:18 am »
This is a Longstick that was sold a number of years ago designed for 12 round cells distributed by Esprit models.  As the power systems of the time didn't have the power that we "currently" are graced with it was built very light.   I purchased it NIB late last summer and installed modern hardware and equipment in it updating it to modern methods.  The result is a large 55" wingspan and 57" overall length plane that powered with a 3s 3850mA pack weights just 47oz!   Flys very straight and true with good power for smooth aerobatics.  Would make a great aerobatic trainer.  There is some yellowing of the slickers on the fuses where the masking didn't come off cleanly but its hardly noticeable.

Six flights....  Too many airplanes....  I intended to keep it and even made lined wing bags for it.

Hitec HS65's in the wings,  HS82MG on elevator,  HS85MG on rudder.  Power system is Himax 3528-1000kv with Castle Thunderbird 54 ESC with 13.5x6 prop

$350 delivered to TEMAC or Newmarket area.

maiden flight with 12x6 prop

This beautiful flying plane has not left the basement this season due to other ventures.  It’s just too nice of a plane to see it sit there un enjoyed.  I will be in Newmarket this weekend and could arrange flight demo and delivery options.

Here is the nuts part.  I will sell it to a temac member for the almost upsetting price of $200 cash.  No goats.  No wedding offers.  No promises of good karma.

Pm me your phone number so we can discuss.

@Ededge2002
What's in it for power?  I like the clean lines and shoulder strap.  Does it come with ice?
