Jets Day was great. Best model was Simon's Phantom.

As Michael said, the jet day is great.  I took my Yak-130 out for maiden.  First flight, I had Glenn trim out the jet for me.  (a big thank you Glenn). I thought I was ready to maiden but end up crashing it.   :'(  On takeoff with the N/E cross wind, I panic and over correcting causing the jet roll and crashed.  Lesson learned.

Here is the video footage.  As you can see the difference between the pro (Glenn) and the beginner (me).   :P

Sorry you had a crash Oscar. We've all been there if it helps at all.
What could possibly go wrong?

Michael

My Phantom bounced on landing, then flipped, one wing breaking off into a few pieces, one retract broken off, canopy broke off.

It's all nicely repaired and ready to fly again.  ;D

That's great news Michael. I was looking forward to flying Phantoms together. Sorry you crashed.

My F-15 nose is now glued on again. The front retract was cracked which was why the nose wheel was going too far back. All repaired!

Oscar

Glenn - thank you for the repair tips.  The hot water repair method works (this morning, my family was asking me what am I cooking that needs such a big pot middle of the night).  ;D

A few more photos from BJ:

Oscar's Yak on maiden takeoff.

Group photo.

My (non jet) E-Flire Convergence.

Simon's Phantom. It's out of focus, but it was flying really fast!

Greg's Airbus, slowly taking off.

Simon's F22.

My Mirage.
