Hoping this will waterproof (water resistify?)my GP Seawind. The model has been crashed three times, once full speed into a tree and twice in saltwater and experienced one fire. The saltwater really does a number on the aileron torque rods which are steel music wire in a plastic tube bearing. Once the saltwater gets in there, the music wire corrodes and welds the torque rods to the plastic...aileron response is reduced to say the least.
I've put aileron servos in each wing and in a final attempt to make this thing more water resistant, am borrowing from the full size aviation community and am Corrosion Xing the model's electronics.
That's the ESC, RX, rudder and aileron servos submerged in Corrosion X. I'm stubborn.
Motor's next. I'll post results.

Bill, how did you get those three cylindrical bottles to balance on their sides like that with the heaviest one on the top?  Does it have something to do with consuming the light one on the bottom before stacking them?  You always amaze me!   :P

There is also the product below that drone pilots have been using with great success:

Drydrone is perfect for ESCs and other boards (receivers, flight controller), I am not sure how it would work on servos.
It should be applied in a couple of thin coats though.

My iPad and I managed this feat somehow...gonna see of I can get the next posted picture on a diagonal! On a more serious note, motor, esc, rx and servos were all submerged in the Corrosion-X, drip dried and are working fine...I'll find out soon enough if it's made things more water resistant...
