2017-14 TEMAC Tickler, Fall Clean Up
« on: October 30, 2017, 08:37:05 pm »
Wow, did it get dark and cold quickly?! But I'm not complaining - I think it's been an amazing flying season.  Our winter season program is well underway.  Our first pilots meeting was very well attended with almost 30 members coming out to socialise.  And last week the build classes got underway - Piker started another model and I installed a receiver!

This week, its our Fall field maintenance day.  Saturday 4th November, 9:30am - please come to Rogo-field to help us out.  Every year our field condition improves, thanks to the efforts of the willing volunteers that come to help.  Don't forget, there will be free coffee and donuts!

Finally, I'd like to remind all our members that this year is a Board election year.  The TEMAC Board consists of 4 Directors, whose role it is to ensure our club remains safe, financially healthy, inclusive and continues to give you, the membership, what you want. All of your current Board members are willing to stand again, for another 2 year term.  But none of us assume the right to be on the Board.  If you think its time for a change, or would like to volunteer to help lead TEMAC for a time, you would be welcome to stand.  I'm sure any of your current Board would be happy to talk to you about what it means and what is required to be a Director.  And I'm sure no-one would be offended.
