Several years ago Jack Higgins asked the membership to donate old model airplane plans as they purged their collections of magazines and plans.  He asked me to handle them.  There were many generous donations by many members, especially Ken Ross and Ken Rawlins.  I took many unwanted magazines and ripped out any and all plans.

I didn't realize how many I had until Rick asked me at dinner last week if I had any plans by Peter Rake (British designer) of biplanes like the Pup or Nieuport.

Here, in part, was my answer.  I was pleasantly surprised how long the list was.

Rick,

Per your request at dinner before the Pilots Meeting, I went through all the plans looking for old Peter Rake or similar designs.  A list:
- BE12a  49" biplane by Peter Rake
- Albatross DII 1/8 scale by Peter Rake.
- Spad XIII 36" span by Peter Rake
- Moraine Saulnier 46" span by Peter Rake
- Bristol F2B Fighter 36" span by Cyril Carr
- Westland Wagtail 41" biplane by Cyril Carr Biplane
- small biplane called Baby Bomber biplane- 17.5" span
- SE5A by Peter Rake 36" span
- Nieuport 11- 18" span
- 1913 Deperdussin 42" span by Peter Rake
- Sopwith Swallow 29" span by Peter Rake
- Sperry Messenger by Peter Rake 30" span
- Sopwith Pup 37" span by Peter Rake
- Sopwith Pup by David Beavor 18" span
- Ponnier L1 by Peter Rake 35" span
- Sopwith Gordon Bennett Racer 34" span biplane by Mike Roach.
- Micro RC Sopwith Pup  by Mats Johansson 12" span
- Peanut Scale Bristol Scout 13" span by John Blankenship
- Huntington H.12 40" span Monoplane by Peter Rake
All have full size plans and most have the magazine article.

Let me know if you have any interest in any particular design.  Post your request here and I can answer and only have to go through the pile once!  Yes, one day I will go through them and make a complete list.... on a cold wintery day... this century. :D

Richard,

Got your list but the schedule shows a build class on November 22.  Will bring your selection of plans to this class.
