Here is a link to my slide show......I'm afraid I had to remove the music due to copyright issues!

Yea 400W/lb should about do it.. But wouldn't a nice round 500 be better?

Simon (@sihinch),

Thanks again for your absolutely wonderful 2017 Photo Review.  I showed it to my good spouse and she was on the floor!  We both agree that your scripting for the photo captions was superb.  And now she fully understands why I'm a little weird when I come home from the field!! 8)

Cheers!

We miss you too, Colin.

Andy,

Who is this Colin ("wollins") guy?  He has a lot of posts, never shows up at the field, people always say nice things about him yet people who joined TEMAC this year and flew up a storm have never met him.
He is actually TEMAC's version of Santa Claus.  You never see Santa do his work or fly his sleigh either, yet he knows if you've been bad or good. 8)

Seriously, Colin, have a great holiday season with your family and do get out to the field next year.  Flying with you is always a laugh. ;D

Thanks guys ... but not to worry, I'm still building ... just using heavier pieces of wood that's all! On a serious note this house is taking all of my energy and I've never been a good multitasker. ;)

First pic ... living room as we bought it.
2nd pic ... midway.
3rd pic ... end result.

Not as pretty as the Solent or CL-415 (which by the way are languishing in the yet to be finished basement) but satisfying none the less.

Colin.

P.S. Yes the goal is to finish this never ending reno by this Summer so hopefully I can get out a little this year and maybe I might even get to finally finish the Solent? http://temac.ca/smf/index.php/topic,4888.0.html

Wow!  That is an impressive build.  Looks like it was all worth it and now you can sit down and enjoy it.

Hey Colin:

Where are the receiver and the servos mounted in there?  8)

Way to go!!
