I have posted this topic at the request and on behalf of @Athol (Athol Cohen).  Athol has kindly offered to arrange to have Club Name Tags made up for those who wish to have one.  They are only $10 each.  They are of great quality, quite attractive, consisting of a plastic/steel laminate with magnetic clip to hold it on where desired.  (Hat, shirt, jacket, pocket, wherever.)

Three PDF examples are provided below, along with a photo which illustrates a real one.  (When viewing the photo, imagine the 905 Squadron logo will be replaced with TEMAC's logo, along side your name and desired title.)

To place your order, simply reply to this post. Alternatively send Athol a Personal Message through the forum.

Please provide your name, choice of title and a promise to pay Athol upon receipt of your personalized name tag.

Let's make it easier to get to know one another. It is only 'courteous' to speak with each other by name.

So we can have ANY name and ANY title on them?!  ;D

@sihinch

This was my original.  I trust it will answer your question.

Purchase a fancy/functional nametag so that club members and people you believe are your friends no longer refer to you as, "Hey you!!" or "Who are you again.

Wear one of these personalized club nametags when you are at the flying field, at a pilot's meeting, or at your next family function. Wear it anywhere where you believe people don't know or remember your name.

If you don't like your name, know your name, or you prefer to use a fictitious name; here's your chance.  Buying and wearing one of these personalized nametags is a lot cheaper than paying for a legal name change.  (Just don't expect to get past any kind of security by wearing it.)

The PDF replicas below are provided as examples only.  If you don't like the example names shown, feel free when placing your order to ask to have your own name and a selected title put on your nametag. That's why we are saying they are personalized.  (Heaven forbid we do not need, nor want more than one Simon, Athol, or Bruce,)

Place your order now while supplies last.  Send a Personal Message to  @Athol.  Athol Cohen is undertaking this initiative to ensure he and others get your name right next time you are at the flying field or wherever you wear it.

When placing your order, provide your desired name (usually your own), selected title and a promise to pay Athol upon receipt of your personalized nametag.

Athol will do the rest.

Sounds good. I just ordered one. Perfect for me with short term memory loss.

Ordered mine!

Hey @bweaver ,

I just can't wait to see what @Frank v B calls himself.   As soon as I saw this post I thought of at least a dozen catchy names which I'm sure would have broader appeal than "Frank Van Beurden", or "Frank Van Beuren".  Think, "Son of Charlie", or "Cheeky Chika", or "Auger Man", or "5-Minute E-Poxy Man" .............................

(I'm back!!!  Andy   8))

Andy,

Ordered mine.
Can we order order more than one badge with different names to suit the occasion?
"Crash n' Burn"
"Slow Flyer"

@Richard_RC_Guy Definitely purchase more than one to suit individuals with multiple personalities/abilities as in your case.   It will help others get to know you easily.

If you are the creative type, purchase a blank name tag (just with the TEMAC logo on it) and use it like you would a white board, place your own name and title on the name tag at the time to suit the occasion.  This will work for our members who are in a witness protection program or those trying to avoid Revenue Canada arrest.
