Hey Michael, that will be a great prize for Sunday's event.  Thanks so much!

For those planning to attend and participate in the Cub Challenge, check out how you could win it among other prizes. Here is what you have to do...

Unfortunately I won't be attending this event but hypothetically could the loops, touch and go and limbo be combined into one manoeuvre to "save time"?   This is what I would attempt if anyone wants to wine about my efforts to "cheat".  I'll be the first to admit that I would make EVERY EFFORT to bend, manipulate or slip one past the judges!

Bruce what was your PayPal address again?  LOL
Yea 400W/lb should about do it.. But wouldn't a nice round 500 be better?

Hey Bruce.  How many sleeps until the Club Cub Event.??  You still have the heading 10 days.

You wear the sandals so you can do the higher level math. :D

Frank

ps: I have bought the case of Coke, Diet Coke and water.  Will trade for a shady place under a tent!  It's going to be hot!

Plan Ahead For Having A Great Fun Filled Day

There will only be one organized fun fly activity scheduled to start at 1:15, with registration to participate starting at 1:00. (Refer to the event instructions at http://temac.ca/smf/index.php/topic,6650.msg43741.html#msg43741 )

As you may notice from reading the instructions, (@Frank VB being the likely exception), this event shouldn't take long, provided participants stick with the flight challenge sequence. Thus, the remainder of the day (morning and afternoon) is for your enjoyment of flying and sharing time with your friends.

Things to bring:

1.   Sun Shade (Pop up sunshade if you have one or umbrella at the least.)
2.   Sun screen if you are not going to stay in the shade
3.   Fluids, water, other liquid refreshments to ward off dehydration
4.   Picnic lunch and snacks if you come early and plan to stay for the day
5.   Folding chair(s) for yourself and your guests. Don't count on a chair being available.
6.   Your plane(s) and perhaps something to cover them from the sun
7.   Your charged batteries
8.   Your transmitter(s)
9.   Cheering or Jeering gear (flag, rally towel, noisemaker, loud voice, etc.) to ensure your judging and voting counts – Remember you will be the judge
10.   Your smile and sense of humor (Fun, Safety, Courtesy)

Things we kindly ask you to do and be aware of:

1.   Parking may be at a premium.  If a parking spot is not available, there will be a drop off parking space saved for dropping off your plane(s) and gear you have brought with you for the day (see above list).
2.   When using this drop off space, after taking your stuff out of the car, you will have to move your car and park perhaps on the street.  The drop off spot must be maintained for drop off and pick-up purposes throughout the day!
3.   Pilots have to share the set-up tables.
4.   Sunshades will be placed in the vicinity along side of the parking fence.  Please consider sharing the shade with others.
5.   For the safety of models and equipment,  plan to place all aircraft and equipment on the ground, in the space between the set-up tables and the flight stations.  This will become a NO GO AREA for guests and TEMAC members who are not actively getting ready to fly.  This will ensure that members and guests have space to move around and not cause any damage to member's aircraft and equipment.  Please help us police this practice by advising your guests of this practice.
6.   Please keep the toilet clean.  Avoid messing it up when you use it.
7.   What ever you bring to the field, you are responsible for bringing it back home with you.  So bring a bag for garbage and clean up after yourself.  This includes pieces of aircraft, should one of yours decide to re-kit itself.

Wow! This looks like it's almost worth getting out of bed early on Sunday morning just to see @Frank v B 's caffeine transformation!   8)

re: "or can't remember (eh @Frank v B ?)"

Life would be sooooo boring for you if you did not have me to pick on. ;)

We will settle this like men .... on the runway.... with Cubs and our lack of flying ability.

Frank, Andy,  Please let me have the last word here so that members just catching up with the forum, know what's going on tomorrow. In other words if I can put it simply, DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS POST!

By the way, @Ededge2002 , I just found your post. http://temac.ca/smf/index.php/topic,6650.msg43750.html#msg43750
Thanks for being so honest about your potential for bending to have an advantage.  Sorry you can't make the event this year.  Look forward to doing business with you at next year's funfly. (Cash only)
