For several years now Roger at John's Hobbies has organized a Santa parade of RC cars and trucks.  They line them up on the sidewalk on the Danforth in front of the store and run them in a parade around the block.  There were many Santa hats visible and lots of kids.  Some Trucks were serious stuff.

I asked them when we could fly a parade on the Danforth.  A beautifully paved runway... with a solid stripe down the middle. 8)

Not to be a "D*ck" but, why doesn't Johns Hobbies and the other organizers use Facebook groups and advertise this stuff?  I have lots of friends that would have liked to do this unless it was a "johns" only event.   My heart is to Ron at Pin, but any activities help spark interest to the kids and others at heart.

Greg,

This thing started organically a few years ago for the fun of it. Maybe a few people joined the parade at that time.  Every year it has grown.  He may publish it next year.
He sends an e-mail to members of his car club who shop at John's.
I will mention it to Roger and publish the event next year.
