Setting the Record Straight on why airplanes fly
« on: January 10, 2019, 11:09:08 am »
This is my first message in 2019 intended to assist newbies (student pilots) and existing TEMAC pilots, learn how to fly their model aircraft or improve their existing flying skills.

A short while ago I had posted on the forum a simple illustration trying to be proactive in my role as CFI (Chief Flight Instructor).  I have been advised that my theory of why airplanes fly, while not being wrong, is somewhat incomplete.  http://temac.ca/smf/index.php/topic,6818.msg45348.html#msg45348

Who would have guessed?

So now with help from @Athol , I am now going to set the record straight by reproducing the following informative document containing useful information, provided by him. So let's start...
