C of G determined. Battery installation made to accommodate C of G.

Cowl dowels and magnet/contact installed to secure cowl.

Battery access hatch determined prior to finalizing fuselage top.  The hatch was installed at this time and then the top of the fuselage glued on after it was made.  (easier to do it this way)

Shaped fuselage and painted. 

Started with the trim installation. 

Until the windows are installed it is only good for VFR.   

In my opinion it looks way better at a distance...

With a morning like today's and an invite from Craig to accompany him flying, I couldn't wait for Mayden Fest to test out the plane. 

It took off beautifully and flew like a true Warwing design.  Some up trim was required because it was slightly nose heavy, but otherwise if flew great!

Always nice to see something you put together get into the air and work out well.  Flies real nice.

If after anyone sees it fly, and they wish to have the plans to make their own,  I would be happy to pass them along.
