This plane fell into my car at Sunday's flying event. ;D

Status
- cowl has been spray painted
- motor installed.  Turnigy 5055- 580 KV (.60 equiv).  Bought it at the Kitchener Swap meet 2 years ago with motor mount for $40.00.  A 1500 watt motor.
- 70 amp ESC (4-6 cell). When I tried to connect it, one servo lead looked suspicious.  A little test tug and it came off.  Soldered on a new pig-tail.
- two standard size servos installed with a Spectrum 6 Channel receiver.  Bound and tested.

Next Step:  The wings. Install the servos and make plywood covers.  The Aluminum tube broke in the crash so Rob supplied a hardwood dowel.  Does his wife know a broom handle is missing???   ;D ;D 8)

#1
Final assembly complete!!

- installed the aileron servos and linkages
- adjusted the battery tray and installed new Velcro straps
- cleaned the soot off the covering*
- fixed a wing plate that had cracked
- installed a new wing hold-down blind nut
- final adjustment to the motor and thrust line
- tested the radio and reduced the rates.
- installed a new prop- a Graupner 13 x8 that I bought at the Milton/Oakville swap shop for $4.00

Will probably do the first flights with a 5 cell pack.  Will do the power numbers on the weekend

A very stout airplane.  Small span but lots of volume and lots of power.

Thanks Rob.
