WHAT ARE YOU MAIDENING THIS SATURDAY??
« on: May 01, 2019, 09:01:08 pm »
Roll call.  What planes are you maidening at this Saturday's post-field-clean-up event?

I am bringing my:
- Cobra Z
- Electro UHU
- Denight Special (Rob D's plane)
- Maybe my E-Flite V-900

Frank

ps: when I type in "maidening" it auto-corrects to "maddening".  Same thing!   :D

I am afraid I will not be able to make the weekend, which is a shame as I have:
CL415
Freewing F86
Brio aerobatic plane I bought from Michael
Tigercat (it has one flight but it is completely redone colour scheme wise
Ugly Stick

Would be back till the long weekend, have fun everyone on Sunday
What could possibly go wrong?

Do you want us to maiden them in your absence and let you know how it went?  We could take pictures.  The long weekend is a long way off.  ::)

I'd be happy to fly them for you Rob.  No fee.

I will not be at the 'clean-up', but will do my best to be there in the early to mid afternoon.

It looks like perfect weather to maiden my CL415.  ;D

Looks like I can make it afterall to the Cleanup and May-den Fest. I’m bringing my Volantex ASW28 Scale electric glider (yup it’s a foamy) that I got at the 905 swap meet. Wing span is 2.55m and it’s a full house setup with 6 servos for flaps, ailerons, rudder and elevator. The Chinese manual was not very helpful but I learned a lot from You-tube videos and forum posts.

Fortunately I was able to program it as a “Radian Pro” and so far all the controls and functions seem correct while ground testing.

This will be truly a “maiden flight” come tomorrow (no time for secret premaiden’s ha, ha, since I’m still assembling it).

TTFN,
Richard.
