Thanks Guy  :) So, to recover, do you kick the pedals the opposite way, and leave the nose down until the spin stops?

Steps to recover do slightly change by model and aircraft type; however the same basic steps are involved:
1- Stop screaming!
2- Power idle and carburetor heat on
3- push down - not too long, just enough to recover from the stall, the plane will accelerate quite quickly, do not over speed (red line speed)
4- opposite rudder
5- ailerons neutral - very important else you may exacerbate the spin.
6- pull up once stall has been recovered and spinning stopped
7- Add full power - careful not to over speed the engine
8- Yell: YAHOO! once completed
9- Repeat as needed.
