SOGGI Glider Fun Fly - Rescheduled to Aug 3rd

Hey folks,

So SOGGI will be hosting a Glider Fun Fly on Saturday, August 3rd at our field on Haldibrook Road (off Highway 6 just west of Hamilton)

It's open to electric, hand launch & line launch sailplanes of all sizes. Come on out and have some fun, maybe even try out line launch (winches and histarts will be present).

There will be a BBQ, at a small extra cost.

In addition, we will setup for the LSF's SAP and eSAP achievement programs, see more detail at http://www.silentflight.org
We will have Level 1 forms for the eSAP, it takes 2 flights over 5 minutes (from a launch to 200m in 30s or less) and 5 landings within 3m of a designated spot to achieve Level 1 in the eSAP.

If you've got an electric glider, come on out. Even Sailaire's are welcome ;-)

If you've got a hand-launch glider, come on out

If you've got a line launch glider, come on out, even if you've never launched one we'll get you up & running on histart or winch.

We'll be flying all 3, with a BBQ as well.

So while last weekend was not suitable, next weekend looks great for Glider Guiding.

SOGGI will be hosting the Fun Fly on Aug 3rd, at our Field on Haldibrook Rd immediately north of Highway 6 (just turn north on Haldibrook Rd from Hwy 6 and you should see us on the west side).
