Flight Instruction Wednesday June 12th is a GO
« on: June 11, 2019, 03:35:13 pm »
The forecast is good for a great evening of flight training.

I'll be there.

Oscar and Richard have advised me that unfortunately they can't attend, so arrive without technical issues.

See you there.

Hello,

I will be there around 6:30pm.

Thanks Oscar.  I was misinformed...  Your knowledge and assistance is always so helpful and appreciated.

NOTE TO STUDENTS it's OK now to experience technical issues tomorrow evening provided they occur after 6:30.

Wow, a POP of 10%.  They never say 0%.  These weathermen are as careful as a snail slowing down to take a corner!!

Bruce is a master of the understatement.  At one point there were 23 cars and several people like Glenn had already left.  It got a little chilly later on but it was beautiful day.  No snow!

The highlight was Oscar maidening his RC thingy with parachute.  Oscar, does your wife know yet the bedsheets are missing???

Here are some more photos

57- Temac's kids.  Gray and family.
58- Gerald and Rob are now friends
59- Rob with his Ugly Stick
61- Rob and Gerald as frenemies
62- Carlos makes a fashion statement.
63- Dave selling Cubs out of the back of his car.  The Cub is now gift-wrapped in yellow paint.
64- Peter and his brightly coloured leaf blower.  It has great vertical and large speed range.  Well flown.
65- Vic before giving me a lecture.... again.
66- Graham finally getting rest after cleaning up the storage bin.  Well earned rest.... now get back to work dammit!!

More photos:

67- Kenny attaching the wing with rubber bands.
69- Paul finally extracted from his Bobcat.
70- Bruce after 10 lessons..........
71- Still trying my best to catch Chris smiling.  Never happens.
74- Simon dropping a parachute.  On the next attempt it caught a thermal and went more than a bridge too far.
75- Simon's plane after the parachute drop-  Proof his flying style is a blur.
78- Graham checking the features of Simon's meal plan.  Rabbit food with protein added.
79- Kenny applying 500 mile an hour tape to hold back the flapping film on the stab.
80- Oscar looking on until his skills are needed.
81- Fabrice and Vic discussing the state of the nation.
82- Peter giving George a lesson.
84- Mark teaching 2 instructors at a time.  Finesse!!
85- Oscar's and his executive summary on the new Spectrum transmitters.  How can you screw up a simple need for 4 basic functions.
86- Temac's identical twins- Chris and BJ. ;)

What a great evening.  Thanks for all the help.

Frank

It was a great night.  4 batteries by the end of the day (thanks Bruce).

Thank you, Vic, for keeping my heart rate at a reasonable level (for flying).
