Let's plan ahead and charge your batteries.

The forecast is for a dry evening with winds from the west.  Not my favorite, but they aren't forecast to be too severe.

Students and instructors will experience flying in turbulence caused by the winds coming over the trees to our west and cross wind landing and approaches.  Builds character and encourages improving flight control and aircraft repair skills.

Ruddddddeeeeerrrrrrr!   :o

I look forward to seeing the students and the flight instruction/ground team attending.

Sadly I won't be able to make it this week.  My post project down time has concluded... back to the trenches for me...

Enjoy the cross wind!

I'm still chuckling.

I'll be there to take advantage of these educational winds.

It sure was.  Beautiful day.  A little gusty (read as :"challenging"), wind from the north-west, no rain,no snow, no hail. ;D

Did I tell you there was no snow!

Here is the photo report.

OK, I want to know who decided that the floppy hat has become required fashion at Rogo Field??
see photos 11, 12, 14, 15.
