The forecast for Wednesday afternoon is looking good for a little pre-winter flying.

Anyone else thinking about it?

I am thinking about 1 p.m.....  provided the forecast holds out.   :) ::)

BJ,

re: ...."We'll be taking off the coats and getting a tan"

"They're coming to take you away....heh, heh!"

You are clearly retired and on something stronger than oxygen. ;) :)

Could be the lack of oxygen, but some crisp fresh air, hardly any wind, sunshine, and some flying may result in a tan.  I don't think I will wear my sandals though.  :D

Just came by Temac and there is quite a big pile of snow at the end of the driveway.
What could possibly go wrong?

bweaver

Not a problem Rob...  That pile will be least of our worries.  ::)

Frank v B

Oh so it is a pile of white stuff.... this time. ;D ;)

It was a great afternoon for flying off of the fresh snow.

There was no problem driving into the field.  There was no problem getting out of the car.  There was no problem getting each of our planes into the air and back on the ground.  There was no problem driving out of the field.  As a matter of fact, there was no problems...

I for one am looking forward to the next nice day with more fresh snow.  Weather person, make my day... ;)

Enjoy the photos below.

Yes, I was there behind the camera.

BJROB

Oh yes it was a great day  :o
And I got to fly off the snow first time with my Beaver  ;D
Not so good for my 5 dollar Heineken   ???
This was the plane I picked up at one of our (TEMAC) auctions
I'm going to put it in the corner for a bit (right Frank) learned this from our build classes  ::)

Great photos Bruce - even the scary ones of me!  Amazing durability in that camera of yours!!

Cheers!

I was finally able to fly my Warwing without scaring me... or others.  Those floats just tamed it.  Rolls were big and slow and all fun.

Thanks to Bruce for the Warwing float assembly.  He got the spacing and CG spot on.  That Warwing has got to be the most versatile plane.

Gets cold after about 90 mins... but so cool.  ;)
