Great photos David.

Thanks for capturing the maiden flight of my Savoia Marchetti.  You caught the start of tip stall on landing.  Don't be shy to post the end result if you do have it.  I have described it in my build post. I am going to make a link to this from my post on the plane.

Bruce,

Congrats.  A real achievement making an unconventional design fly.
The build post received 4536 reads.  Ya think we were rooting for you!

I didn't get the finish of the tip stall.  Sometimes I ignore what's going on and keep shooting... and that sometimes produces excellent shots.  I'm sorry I watched and didn't shoot this time.

Your Savoia Marchetti hit the water like a Osprey fishing... and then bounded back up... it was amazing to see.  To then see you at the controls and watch it taxi back in was excellent and a testament to the build.  A bit of fibreglass covering.  Very cool.

Congratulations Bruce on the maiden flights!
Truly awesome to see a project go from 1st inception to successful launch!
You never fail until you stop trying

Looks like I missed a gorgeous day. I didn't see any pictures of ESC smoke either.

Great photos Dave.  Good to see everyone at the float fly.  (Ken/Ken/Rob/Rob/Michael/Bruce/Dave/Glenn.. Sorry if I missed your name.  There are 13 float flyers this morning)

@davidk , your photos of the July 31 Scugog float flying are superb.  I feel like I enjoyed a whole day there without having to leave my house!

Photo #0102 of the Grumann G-44 Widgeon flying over the evocative submerged twin, looking for survivors, is priceless!!

So nice to see @bweaver's magnificent Savoia Marchetti in its element.  You captured the taxi, takeoff and fly bys beautifully.

Way to go.
