Title: Insane scale detail
Post by: bfeist on November 14, 2020, 03:10:46 PM
My great grandfather was a machinist who built standard gauge trains as a hobby. His whole attic was an amazing setup. If only he could see the insane detail that SLA 3D printing enables today.

This guy is a superb modeler, even without his 3D printer.

I can only surmise that @Frank v B has surreptitiously engaged @bfeist to cleverly entice me into bringing yet another piece of spouse-attention bait (e.g. NOVA3D Elfin LCD 3D Printer) into my already crowded workshop.  This smells like fresh bait, but I always did want to make a realistic voodoo doll of Frank for practicing my balsa pinning techniques.  I am feeling the first twitches of deep-rooted seismic activity in my wallet.  How can I possibly not get one of these?  Advantage Frank!  8)

(Great post Ben!)
