Title: Garbage at TEMAC
Post by: Michael on July 03, 2004, 03:05:54 PM
It appears that someone left what looks like door frames (or something like that) at TEMAC. What are these for? Who left them?

Mike,

They belonged to John Kusturin. I did ask him why, he was going to use them to frame the edges of the benches, as sort of a retainers for planes so that they do not "dropped" off the tables accidentally.

It was a scary moment this morning. Gord had his glider up and lost control of it. It went staright down and luckily landed the other side of the road, and missed hitting anything. He managed to retrive the wrackages though.

Thanks,

Alex

Yes, it was pretty scary.  I lost control because the tail came unglued -- this time it was my building skills, not my piloting skills, that caused the crash.  Fortunately the glider was only minimally damaged and is now back in flying condition.
