I apologize if you've seen this but here is some wonderfully photographed footage of a FW190 and Spitfire, participating in an air chase. The sounds are as wonderful as the sights :-)
The FW190 take off is particularly aggressive, with some extremely daring, low flying. In the air, the sleek lines of the Spitfire vs the business like, brutish hulk of the wonderful FW190, makes for a true beauty and the beast display.
Two wonderful machines. Quite lovely. Sad that they were once sworn enemies.

@RogMason ! The sound of the passes alone makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck. Delicious! And the low light angle made for beautiful illumination of the aircraft.
