Title: Morning Crew Celebrates First and Last BBQ...
Post by: bweaver on May 31, 2018, 10:51:18 AM
It was a great, yet sad day yesterday for the morning crew.

It was a great day to celebrate our first BBQ of the season.

It was a sad day recognizing that yesterday was the last BBQ the Morning Crew will be able to have this month.

Thanks Greg Cadez for taking the group photo and to John Aurich (missing in the photo) who was absent making an unselfish run to Tim Horton for fresh donuts to supplement the BBQ.

Great time had by all.

If you haven't been out flying yet, recognize that the flying season (nice weather) is getting shorter.  Tomorrow is the beginning of June...

@sihinch Now that is the silliest comment I believe you have made. When looking at the photo do you think any of us look like we would be missing work?

NOTE TO THOSE WHO WISH TO JOIN THE MORNING CREW DURING A WEEK DAY, BUT DO NOT WANT TO BE SEEN IN GROUP PHOTO'S TO PROTECT THEIR ABSENCE ALIBI FROM THEIR PLACE OF WORK:

When photos are being taken hide behind me or any other willing MC TEMAC Member.  Hide in the toilet.  Better yet, you be the person taking the pictures and we will not credit you with the photo.  Another suggestion that would work, is not to wear your name tag at the field on those occasions.

Come on out and have fun flying with us regardless of how much or how little 'work' you do, or are supposed to be doing.

PS - Further, many of us in the Morning Crew think of this as our 'work'.  It's great to have a job you love...

It was also a good day for war wing combat.
