When ever I get a model aviation magazine I always have to check out the Tips and Tricks column, to see some novel ideas that modelers share.
I thought it would be beneficial to have a thread dedicated to sharing what tools we use and what tricks and tips we can share among ourselves.
For example in

So let's share some of this good stuff.
For example the next post below is how I would introduce an idea.
DUST CONTROL TIP FOR CAPTURING DUST AT ITS SOURCE
I use my Dremel and other power tools a lot for cutting, sanding and grinding etc. All these activities produce dust. I don't have a dedicated workshop so rather than calling Katie down to clean up when I am finished, this is what I do to minimize the dust produced.
To control the dust and materials that are byproducts of the activity I hook up my shop vac hose using valcro as close as possible to the subject matter being cut, ground or sanded. It works really well.
Just remember to turn on the shop vac before you start undertaking the dust producing activity. ;)

I particularly like photos 2 and 3... Found the project... then make sure it's the right project. ;)
A HANDY-DANDY ESC WIRE FISHING ROD TO PULL ESC WIRES THROUGH THE FIREWALL.Forgot to post my handy-dandy ESC wire fishing rod to pull the ESC wires through the firewall.
Soldered a bullet connector to a piece of piano wire. I feed it through the firewall, connect it to one ESC wire at a time and pull all 3 through.
