Hi everyone. Here's an update for those of you who attended my winter workshop talk on my NASA endeavors way back.
This article was just published about my adventures in the desert this past June, complete with a picture of a drone we used in order to map the desert floor. http://www.aps.org/publications/apsnews/201712/flood.cfm
Wow, Ben! That's pretty freakin' exciting.
So basically you work for NASA now?
Simon,
re:"So basically you work for NASA now?"
Perspective!
Ben works in the Toronto Advertising field, trained for years at the TEMAC flying field... so he could be ready to play in NASA's New Mexico sandbox. :D
Ben, we are damn proud to have you as a member of TEMAC.
Frank
Thanks you guys! I don't work for NASA, but they let me hang out with them. Kind of like you guys.
Ben,
That Is truly awesome, Way to go!
As for the Drone, Do you have any info on that? ....I think I want one! ...lol
Glenn
Here are some more pictures of that drone. It was fully autonomous and is sold by a surveying company. Over $50k I believe.
Ben,
All the best with the grant and taking this project forward... Anything that can help collate data would be a tremendous asset to boost research in any field.
By the way, what time is it?
