Post by: RogMason on February 10, 2018, 08:05:51 AM
Hi guys,
I want to share this book about a young Canadian fighter pilot.
Some points of interest to peek your interest:

- Born in Ottawa
- Refused by RCAF
- Accepted by RAF
- DeHavilland School of Flying, Hatfield, UK
- 609 Squadron RAF
- MkI and MkII Spitfires Battle of Britain
- Biggin Hill
- The Blitz
- MkV Spitfire (luckily first Spit fitted with Armour plate)
- Stalag Luft III
- The Great Escape
- The Great March
- London,Trenton, Rockcliffe, Downsview
- T33, DH Vampire, F86 Sabre

And so on...

All about a very modest, ordinary and VERY lucky young Canadian. Full of local colour.
I think you might like it.

Roger that...
