Title: Aircraft distractions, puzzles, grey-matter teasers
Post by: bweaver on March 24, 2020, 08:51:24 am
Try this word search.

Find the names of the U.S. fighter aircraft in the diagram per the puzzle's instructions.

For those Forum viewers looking for more of a challenge, try the Sudoko.  (I'm leaving the sudoko until I'm really bored and I become smarter. I might not get to it today...)  ::)

 :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Hi Bruce:

Thanks for this. I found “Phantom”. Was easy. Got anything more challenging?  ;)  ::)

Re: Thanks for this. I found “Phantom”. Was easy. Got anything more challenging?  ;)

@Richard_RC_Guy, There is more than the one word 'Phantom' in the diagram.  If you look closely and use the list of words under the diagram, I am sure you will find more.  There is even a hidden word that isn't in the list. Follow the clue and see if you can find it too?  ;D

Unfortunately I don't have anything more challenging at the moment.  Maybe you or someone else has something and will post it here for our entertainment and to exercise the grey-matter.

Thanks for playing.

Here is a radio control airplane quiz.  Give it a try.  It is a bit dated but it works if you are looking for a distraction.

I got 9 out of 10.  Although I would dispute this one...

Your Answer: 3

The correct answer was 2

Typically the channels are arranged as follows:
1 - Aileron
2 - Elevator
3 - Throttle
4 - Rudder

Just sayin'

@Athol , @sihinch - That's why quizzes are often referred to as 'teasers'.  :P

Not to brag, but I got 10 of of 10 when I first took the latest quiz.  Considering both of you agree that one of the questions/answers may have been flawed, does that mean I only got 9 out of 10?  Maybe I was was just lucky with some of my guesses.  ::)

Everything is not black and white.

Everyone, please feel free to post your own quiz, puzzles, teasers to share with our friends.
