TEMAC is open.

(I plan on being at TEMAC on Tuesday April 13, at about 4:30pm. Weather forecast is nice however there will be a 10km crosswind (east).

The TEMAC field is almost dry, and suitable for RC flying.
The field is open to paid members with their WINGS, or to members who have had permission to fly solo.

The field set-up tables are in place, and the field has been rolled.
Takeoffs and landings with 2" wheels are no problem.

Please note the following:

1. The parking area is still muddy in several places so be very careful. Try to stay away from the western edge of the parking area, and if you must, temporary permission is given to carefully
drive into the pits area around the mud, and then into the parking area.

2. At the north end of the field is a low line of trees and bush. This is the northern edge of our flying space.
The airspace north of that tree line is a NO FLY ZONE!

3. Flight instruction is not available yet. This will probably start in May 2010.

4. Wear sun-block and insect repellent. Mosquitoes have been seen.

Please have fun, and be careful.
Think safety and be courteous to other flyers.

I nominate this as "post of the year"
Takeoffs are optional. Landings are mandatory.
