What a great day.  Thanks to the set-up crew (Graham, Greg, BJ) also known as the Flour Boys.  Thanks for the weather department usually headed by Bruce for a beautiful day and thanks to the bribable Event crew (Simon and his judges).

We counted close to 30 cars, about 40 people and about 18 competitors.  Simon will have the final count of competitors when he divides his total earnings by $5.00 to get the total number of participants. ;)

Here is the photo report.

67- The bomb makers.  Temac's Flour Children
68- Money Bags Hoffer decided to make an appearance
69- the reason we had to be polite.  Vic and his handler.
70- The Temac Triumvirate trying to cause problems.
71- Simon makes his entrance
72- Greg Hazleton brought his million dollar smile.
76- Oscar and Carlos, his assistant.
77- 4 hands, one battery connector.
79- Graham overseeing his charges..... from a distance.
80- BJ's pole dissects Oscar's Ultra Super Colossal Tundra.  Gotta fix it.
82- Vadim figuring out his TX
83- Andy waking up.

89- Athol trying to get BJ going.
91- another Tundra getting ready.  Brent's?
92- Mark brought his neighbour along.
93- Oscar showing off his emergency tail repair.
94- Foam lawn darts were everywhere.
96- Bruce smiling at his captured crepe.
99- Vadim was chewed up in an argument with Glenn
00- Glenn did not fare any better.

Thanks to all who participated, helped set up, helped to bring and cook the dogs and spectators who suffered through the contest.

Only a true master like @Frank v B can get below the bomb he has just dropped.  We can only dream of such skill!!   8)

Andy,

So you spent the entire day there with a camera and only took one good photo.  :D
It could be the obituary photo for that plane.  It is no more.  The nose was crushed and so was the owner.  A phenomenal plane for about 10 years and many re-builds.  E-Flite Taylorcraft 450... with a 480 in the nose.
Love the colour matched cowl and Tim's cup on the nose.  Thanks to Mark for the bamboo skewer hold-down.
