I showed up about 12:30, and I saw Bruce, John and a few others. Then David and Glenn joined me and we flew all the planes shown in the photos below. Then Alex, Andy an Loy came to fly. It was cloudy, but the ceiling was very high and it was was fairly bright. Winds were extremely light and from the north. Overall, (for me anyway), it was one of the best flying days of the summer so far!

Agreed... excellent day.  I flew my, apparently very easy to fly, Hangar 9 Cub.  2 take-offs, 2 landings, all good.  That's very rare for me.
Maidened my little HK Sopwith Camel.  Glenn did the maiden flight.  1st flight was just on the edge of being tail heavy so Glenn landed.
I added 1oz and Glenn took off again.  The 2nd flight was solid and I got the controls.  It was my most fun flight of the day.  I did not want it to end.
A good landing and a curtsy and she's ready for the next nice day.  I put a 2826 980kv motor in and used the supplied 11x5 wood prop.  Plenty of power and a great floater.
