General Discussion / How would you like this EDF mo...

Someone wanted my advice on how to dispose of some abandoned RC stuff.

Hard not to laugh (inside) when I was shown this 14 S EDF motor and fan.  195mm diameter.  It produces 25 KG of thrust and retails for over $4,000.  There were two of these.  It needs 20,000 mah batteries that weigh more than my entire RC fleet of 40 plus planes.  ;D

David will have a 3D printed plane for it next week. ;)
I love my job.  No idea what tomorrow brings as this proves.

Very good structure on this OV10.  There's a cross-brace in the fuselage and the front landing gear is supported by 2 6mm CF tubes crossing over sections.

General Discussion / Masters of the air
Last post by Canuke - April 28, 2024, 09:14:41 PM
I have just been watching a series called Masters of the air.
It is about a B17 bomber group in England in WW2. It is the most realistic and engrossing series I have watched in years. The photography, story and action is incredible. I am only part way through it but am really enjoying it.
