Title: Grace and Greg's Red Eagle
Post by: battlestu on November 09, 2014, 03:54:17 PM
Let's back up a bit here... during the skills day fun fly Grace came to me and told me "Dad i really want to learn how to fly." As you can see from the attached photos she (and i) had a blast and she was hooked.

So i started looking for a plane we could build/fly together and later on use at the skills day (ten second powered glider competition). So when the red eagle build class was announced we jumped in!

so lets jump ahead .. Grace and i can't make tomorrow class to we got to work on the tail section of the red eagle. Having already cut the parts out last weekend it went together pretty quick.

I attended for some Morphine help and it was a great class. Grace certainly does all the work on their glider! Greg is just there for his looks.

And the red eagle also looks a bit like an overgrown morphine! Certainly the fuse.

By the way Greg - I think I left my cutting mat with you. Can you bring it Wed please?

Thank you and Grace for your participation. It was great fun to hear Grace sing Happy Birthday to Michael. All the participation by the club is so gratifying.

Thank you.

Jack.

Looking great Greg....  Are your kids involved in the covering process or is it being left up to you?  A great family project regardless!

;D
