Title: fixing a broken wingtip on a Foam Rarebear
Post by: Frank v B on July 23, 2023, 05:47:50 PM
My Rarebrear did a cartwheel on the wingtips.  One tip broke, bent up and jammed into the aileron.

Quick fix:
- mix some 5 minute epoxy with a round toothpick.
- open up the break and apply epoxy to both sides of the break.
- roll a round toothpick into the epoxy and jam it into the wingtip and across the break.
- clamp the tip to a flat surface (a flat metal file) and add a clamp the the aileron to make a proper parallel gap and let it cure.

Total elapsed time: 5 minutes
