Title: Trumpeter 1:500 scale plastic Nimitz Carrier kit- Auction
Post by: Frank v B on December 13, 2020, 10:58:15 PM
No Matter how you try, this won't fly.

Selling a plastic Trumpeter Nimitz Carrier kit 26.5" long, 5.25" beam.  Has geared brushed motor to two shafts, RC-able.  It has literally been collecting dust.  Looking for a good home.

Opening bid $1.00.

New bids minimum $1.00 increments.  End of auction this Wednesday evening, December 16 at 8:00 pm.

Pick-up from my place or the New Year's day Fly at Rogo Field.

Hey @Frank v B

Do you have this in 1/4-scale?!!  It would be fun to use this as a replacement runway for the field!   8)

@battlestu ,

Make it very clear that @Frank v B has to pay YOU.  (It is evident from this whole transaction that Frank is uncharacteristically anxious to clear his debris field.  Something must be going on in the background.  I'm betting Frank will go at least as high as a 10-cup jug of coffee and a dozen crullers.  Don't settle for anything less!!!  While you're at it, see if the girls need anything and get Frank to sweeten his offer.)   8)

Your friend,

Andy

A medium coffee and a Timbit wins the Nimitz for Greg "respectful as dirt" Hazelton.

I can bring it Friday afternoon at Rogo Field or New Year's Day.  Let me know.

Hope you can get the financing arranged by then. ;D

The deal was done at 1 pm today.  Payment was received in full (Tim's coffee and Timbits).

Scout* brought Greg to the field today.
