Crashed my new Aresti 40* on its second flight earlier this summer.  Lost complete radio link and it went in vertically from about 50'. Luckily the soil was wet/soft.  The prop and spinner are fine.
This plane is 40 size, with a .46 Turnigy, a 90 amp ESC and 5S battery.

Approach:

step 1- remove all the weight and loose pieces- removed the prop/motor, cowl, canopy, etc.  Note the photo of the motor in photo 41- I tape all the holes in the bell to stop metal shavings from attaching themselves to the motor magnets.
step 2- start gluing all the loose pieces so they re-build the broken part (formers, stringers, etc.)
step 3- glue the airplane together so everything is aligned properly.
step 4- re-enforce everything so it can take flight loads.

Sub-assemblies:

42- glued loose pieces back in place.  The clamps indicate the pieces.
44- Three plywood tongues were added as braces for the nose piece when it is attached to the tail end.  The fourth piece (missing) will be added later.
