Piker Class Team Pylon Racing (PCTPR).
Here are the teams for this years series.
We would like to encourage active participation by the team's on this post.
Trash talk is acceptable however in keeping with the lofty goals of the club the talk must be of a very high caliber.
Good grammar, good vocabulary and no personal attacks.
Jack.
Go Hearts!!! We're gonna KILL the other teams!
Have you even SEEN the talent on team Spades?! You guys should be shakin' in your boots!
Is that "Kill' with skill?
No blunt trauma allowed.
Jack.
Thanks Jack for putting me on the winning team! Spades have it made in the shade!!!
Ken C
Robert will be too busy building boats. Mike will be chasing athletes around a track. And Ken - you will be too busy doing RPM tests at home.
Good luck Andre! ;)
Simon by the time I finish cutting pylons, spades will head the list!!!
Dear Jack. Thanks for separating me like the cream of the crop I am. I will try to get out and show these girls how to race. I just hope none of them cry.

Just wanna say, I've still got it!
On an optimistic note: Jack said there may be 4 heats and we need 4 race batteries. I only had 3 so I just bought the 4th one at John's Hobbies. Like I am ever going to get into the finals to need it! :P
Frank
Congratulations to everyone who raced today. Special congratulations to Eric and Stephan for joining the series this year and getting 2 morphines ready and flying.
And of course well done Robert. You deserved to win today.
I need to practice!
It was a great day. I think Jack and Graham logged the flight times at 1:02 for 10 laps, right where we left off last year. The final race was a blast with all 4 planes crossing the finish in quick succession. Look out Orangeville!
Frank
Just a reminder to fix things and charge batteries for Sunday.
Our next race is Sunday at 1:00pm.
See you there.
Jack.
Congratulations to Robert for another win. Nice flying. And congrats to Eric for coming 2nd in his 2nd ever race weekend. Feels great, no?
I'm actually gutted about my crash today, I don't really know what happened apart from the fact that suddenly I had no control. Oh well, I guess there are 6 more races to go.
Great racing today everyone. Welcome Andre to the field and congrats to Greg H on the first outing of the Slipper!
Sorry, Simon.
Thanks Michael. Sorry we missed you.
it was great to be back in the race.... "Slipper" thanks for the name Simon :)
I was naming them like Iron Man suits... for any one keeping score this is MKIII.
Does it eat with you?
it only eats with us if Shelley is at work ;D
Ahhh!! I get it. Mine sometimes watches TV with me if Les is out!
Sorry for your crash Simon. I feel for you mate.
I think we should all use a BEC specially since we are pushing the envelope so much. The "insurance" cost is negligible.
It was a great day for racing with light winds and lots of fierce competition. It was so cool to see all the new racers out having a good time.
Simon will be back, looking for revenge next time ;D
Too right! I have another racer to try and another on the work bench right now.
Motor seems OK after the crash. ESC was toast!
I've set all my ESCs to run the same firmware as my old, fast Nooner!
@simon
How do you set all the ESCs to run the old firmware?
BTW I don't see the Piker racing in the calendar. Can someone point me to where is the up to date calendar?
I use the castle link software, Eric plus one of their adapters. They are about $35.
The calendar is on the TEMAC.ca homepage and I just checked that the Piker race is on the calendar.

Sorry everyone, due to weather today's race (and warbirds event) is postponed!
Great race yesterday. Looking back on it, it is so much fun! Even though at the time it's stressful.
Well done to Robert. Another good win.
And great racing sprit from Michael, good luck with the repairs. It was fab to see Colin at the races. Sorry to Stephan, I know you'll be back and racing in 2 weeks!
Great turn out from Team Hearts - we are now in 3rd place by only 1 point! I'm sure on the 19th we will move up the table!
Go Stephan!
Go Colin!
Go Michael!
Well it looks like I will have to actually build my "racer" after all. My "sports" version was just too heavy and slow for the 18A power train. I was a good 10 to 20 mph slower than the top planes. Hopefully that will change for the next race ... gotta get my dedicated racer done now. ;)
Colin
Nice psyching Colin
I just ordered some new fast batteries.
80C !!!!
I hope the next race is rained out! ;D
My repaired Morphine is flying now; not so fast but straight, smooth and very quiet.
There is 0 trim after the first flight.
Last time out my Morphine smashed into a dozen pieces.
It is fully repaired!
I glued all the pieces together and replaced one servo and a prop; I'm ready to race!
Way to go Michael. Great racing spirit! Go team Hearts.
