Ryerson 2018-19- hexcopter project
« on: December 20, 2018, 04:27:10 PM »
Just received a call from Alex Coutu, this year's captain of the Ryerson project.  Last year's project was a quadcopter.  This year's project is a hexcopter with advanced autonomous capability.  Maybe in a few years it will fly itself from the campus to the TEMAC field and bypass all the traffic. :D

The flying will start in February and end mid-March.  I will quarterback the project for TEMAC and hope to continue receiving help.... and abuse.... from Andy and Bruce.

Andy will probably insist the Ryerson students be registered within TEMAC as my children. ;D

This is awesome!

As a proud Ryerson Alumni, I love that TEMAC supports these projects!

Way to go Frank! Very cool stuff!
