I'm interested to know what is the most commonly used lipo at temac?

Any thoughts?

HRB : Good but may only last 3 to 4 years
Gens Ace : Great
Spektrum : Great
CNHL : I've not used yet.  Kenny likes them
Roaring Top : Michael likes these
Hoovo : Kenny likes these.  I have them.  They seem good.  Although some brand new 4500mAh 6S 100C have shorter jet flights than an HRB 4000mAh 60C.
SMC Dual Voltage : Michael has been trying these and likes them.  A couple of planes don't like the higher voltage.  The E-flite Beechcraft bawks but then accepts.
Youme : stay away from - terrible.
SiGP : I only have these in 4S 2200mAh.  Not bad, not sure how long they'll last.
Zeee : stay away from

Oh sorry.

What's the most common size and number of cells used at temac?

A very wide range. Anything from 1800 3s to 5000 6s. Some larger planes and helis even use 12s.

Curious... Why??  I can understand a brand question, but there essentially isn't a common size.  mAh and cells range from 300 and 2S to multiple batteries in series for 8S to 10S.

I hope this helps:

Most small to midsize planes = 3 cell 2200mAh.

Most mid-size to or faster planes = 4 cell 3300 to 5000mAh.

Most jets 80mm to 90mm fans = 6 cell 4000 to 5300mAh.

By a small margin, my most commonly used battery is a 6 cell 5000mAh pack.

I'd say my most common for 1200mm warbirds and the smaller 64mm EDFs (that both fit very nicely in the car) is 4S 2200mAh. A good size battery to have in my opinion.

Next up would be 6S 4000mAh for the larger EDFs.
