Modern homage to a classic 1970s helicopter toy

Hi everyone:

For the last few months I've been working on a modern version of the Mattel Verti-Bird, the top toy for little boys from 1970 to 1975.

It has an ATTiny85 microcontroller at it's heart to control the lift motor as well as the servo for tilting forward/aft.

Very happy with the initial test and will now do some 3D design of items to pick up as per the original toy as well as some tuning of various parts.

A really satisfying project. Will keep on file for future grandkids and grand neices/nephews.
