And it has the benefit of having nothing to do with Queque Somenzini (aka the only guy at horizon who is allowed to work). Which probably means I can afford it.

Very cool.

Any idea on price, I wonder what the cost differential would be between this, and a real F5D ship like a Sunracer would be?

Word is priced around  $160 us. So like 120 off a sun racer and locally available.

The quality of the gen1 Rifle was a good value and I hope the bigger one comes out at least that good. Reports are that some of the issues have been resolved.

As for replacing a F5D airframe......

Thanks for the link, ok looks like if I'm buying new then Rifle 1M it is  :)

Flew the original today, with a mostly overcast sky and frozen fingers it's really getting hard to see and fly!
