Title: CLUBS: Motor
Post by: bfeist on May 08, 2013, 03:45:31 PM
Just arrived.
I also have my projeti motor which is the same size, 2700kv, with cooling holes. But it feels a bit rough when I rotate it. Probably has 300 flights on it. We'll see what this draws.

Lots have that motor. 4.1x4.1 prop is 18 amps. Mike Hazelton has is and felt he needed a little more speed. 4.5x4.1 might be a good choice for a little more pull. Needs testing

You will love the pace plane performance of my E-Flite Six-Series (kV=2000).  18 amps with 5x5 prop.

I will mount a camera on mine so I can capture video of planes whizzing by me. :)

I should point out that I went with my old Projeti 2700kV motor instead of the one in the photo above. I have scrap electronics, I might resurrect the Projeti and throw the black motor in it.
