I found some interstitial space in my shop last night!! I have to go to the Milton swap meet and buy SOMETHING to fill it before my spouse discovers the volumetric vacuum and usurps the space.
😇

Thanks for the heads up @Frank v B !!

Kitchener Swap meet yesterday-  The Three Amigos showed up (Robbie D., Peter and me).
The minute Peter took this selfie we turned around and there was Glenn. So it was actually Temac's Fearsome Foursome.

Interesting that swap meets are starting to look like RCCanada. A lot of people looking, nobody* buying) Lots of stuff for sale.  Stuff that needed work was not selling, pristine stuff better be 2/3 of retail before people would consider it.

Magazines were free and even "I have a dolly and will take all three boxes to your car if you wish".  Nobody (except this old guy) even considered taking magazines.  10 years ago they would sell for 25-50 cents a pice.

Builder's stuff was cheap, standard RC stuff was cheap (servos $2:00 a piece), 72 meg stuff (Rx= $1:00). Covering, props, etc.

Worth the trip.
Next Sunday is Milton/Oakville.

* except Glenn- he bought a BAE Hawk foamie jet with retracts.

Good to see Frank and the Temac crew at the meet. The number of people was really down this year, I guess the weather had something to do with the small crowd.
My sales where not the best but I did sell a bit of balsawood, so I guess a few people are still building.
I did meet a father and son that came all the way down from Meaford, which is up in the Owensound area, they where members of the club up there that folded in 2024. I was a member of that club and did some flying when I was up at the trailer park camping.
Looking forword to the 905 swap meet in April.

The Oakville Milton Swap meet was this morning.  Andy played chauffeur.  He got us there in one piece.

There we met Glenn and Beeton boys Rudie Nagelmakers (ZD, MAAC) and Frank Grognale.  They usually join us at the Temac August BBQ.  They have been invited again.
Also met David Ford from the Orangeville EF-1 races.  Clair and Isaac Murray were there as well.  Also met Andy Telzer who went wayyy back to the EMFSO in the early '90's.

Selfie taken with Rudie Nagelmakers.
