Hi everyone,
Over the next while I will be posting older TEMAC Tickler issues that Jack sent out years ago, before the temac.ca website existed. I've had the idea of posting these here in the back of my head for some time, but with the very sad news of Jack's recent passing, now seems the appropriate time.

I hope this collection can remain online here, on our forum, as a testament to Jack's contributions to the spirit of our club. I also hope that someone picks up the torch and continues writing Ticklers in years to come.

For now the new posts will be placed in a child board under this one. You can find it here.

As a side note, I recall Jack telling me that TEMAC "Tickler" was actually a type-o he made on his first newsletter. He liked it and kept it. I like it too.

This is a wonderful idea Ben. Thank you for doing this.

I'd love to see some of Jack's old messages and humour.  :)

Thanks guys. I'm putting them in a child board for now. http://temac.ca/smf/index.php/board,65.0.html

I especially like the quote he wrote introducing his St. Patrick's Day newsletter from 2012: http://temac.ca/smf/index.php/topic,5416.0.html

This is a great idea. Nice to look back and read up on some history of TEMAC and Rogo field.

Hi everyone,
I've just posted all remaining Tickler newletters that I received over the years. It's hard to know if there are any missing, as Jack only started numbering them at around the 30th one.

Interesting that before "Tickler" the newsletter was called the TEMAC Teaser. Here's the first "Tickler" newsletter http://temac.ca/smf/index.php/topic,5489.0.html  Jack explains why he changed the name in the post.

Here's the first TEMAC newsletter that I received from Jack in May 2010. http://temac.ca/smf/index.php/topic,5494.0.html

It's incredible to think that he created over 500 pages of newsletters in 5 years.

This is fantastic.

I could waste many hours going through these!

Thanks for doing this Ben.
