I would like to ask students to let Frank or I know if you won't be attending the training session.
If you need my personal contact info let me.
FYI - My phone number was included in the email I sent with your membership docs.

Thanks

Could have been a bit warmer, but winds were tolerable, even nice at times, and the sun was out... mostly.

Today we had Peter's Red Bull's Pilatus PC-6 and Glenn's Cessna.
Also, and for the first time, 3 Planeprint EVO... not only at the field at the same time, but flying at the same time.  Rob, George, and David.  Kinda cool.

Thanks Ken. Ok will check RC Canada. Maybe I can find him. Wish me luck. I just don't want to throw the plane out.

Greg I only see Dan once a year and only at the swap meet. Also not sure where he is living now.

I think this is for Polecat. Ken F. I was selling a green and orange Vetol style aircraft from plans, a friend of yours, at the 905 swap, I think Dan wanted it, but it didn't fit in your truck or his car. He was very tall and sported a fancy Cain.  Can you ask him if he still wants the airplane? It would be ashamed to throw it out. He said he's an hr away.  You can send me a PM. Thanks. Greg C.

Oops!

One shaft coupling was broken. I suspect it broke when the prop hit the rock at the bottom step. I saw it stopped but then pushed it seaward and forgot about it.  The arrow points to the break in the white plastic coupling.

Enlarged the rudders- cut a piece of lite ply and glued it to the existing rudder with 5 minute epoxy.  Once firm, I added a layer of fibreglass cloth.  One side at a time.
Notice in the photo:
- the rudder was extended below the existing rudder to the bottom of the prop blade.
- area was added ahead of the rudder shaft to increase the balanced area for faster turning.
