Papa

As you know the Board is planning to clean out the drainage ditch this Saturday, 10:00am to 1:00pm.

The response from our younger members is a bit sparse.
We urge you to come out and lend a hand.
It's your field also.
You can't expect the old guys to do all the heavy lifting.
We need your support.

Let me know if you can come.

Thank you, Jack.

I plan on showing up.  If a plane snuck into my car will I be reprimanded?  Is beer included?
Yea 400W/lb should about do it.. But wouldn't a nice round 500 be better?

Ededge2002

able bodied individuals that do not attend the field repair day will be subject aircraft related torture.  see below.

I'm coming and bringing Easter Chocolate!

And Ed - maybe the new Formosa for a maiden?

Papa

No beer it's against our recommended practices but sneak all the planes you like for after the repairs.

Thank you for volunteering and you Mike.

Ahh Good times,

We laughed, we cried, we dug trenches....

I'll leave the reporting of the success of the endeavor to others. However, I did manage to have fun doing the work. Which is saying a lot, since work and I are not always the best of friends these days.

I too had a good time today. I would like to thank the club members that attended today's function.  Many hands did indeed make lightER work and the fun character of the club was present. one of the reasons I joined TEMAC in the first place!

Great job on the field guys.
We were out there today and it was a huge improvement over what we saw Friday night.

(Saturday were were down in Dresden chasing the better weather forecast to get in some early season C/L combat practice. Never flown so early in the year before)

As a member who will certainly reap the benefit of all this work I just wanted to add my thanks to each and every one of the guys that put in the work on Saturday.

Thanks!
