2 TEMAC members in latest Model Airplane News magazine

The latest Model Airplane Magazine issue (Feb. 2013) has a story on the 2012 Kingston Electric Fun Fly, and two of the photos have familiar faces; one of Robert Pike with his 4-motor Sandringham, and me with my ultra-light Piper Cub.

Yea 400W/lb should about do it.. But wouldn't a nice round 500 be better?

Next year's mission should be to get them to publish a TEMAC funfly article...

Takeoffs are optional. Landings are mandatory.

I bet if we sent something in, they'd publish it.  Especially if we were to talk a little about the club and all the awesome cool stuff we have going on.

That's how Piker will always be remembered: hunched over in a ball with his arm in a fuselage looking for a dropped wing bolt.

Oh I figured he was starting one of the motors. Look at that hand it's poised to flip the prop!
