I will be at the field tonight with some British WW2 fighters, to honour and show respect to all those who fought in the "Battle Of Britain."

It's 80 years since the largest and most concentrated air attack against London, which took place on Sunday 15 September.  Around 1,500 aircraft took part in the air battles which lasted until dusk. The action was the climax of the Battle of Britain.

15 September, also known as Battle of Britain Day, is now an annual commemoration of the battle in the UK.

What time, Simon?

And... thank goodness that island, and its people, got in the way.

Well it was cooler and darker than I expected (was it really smoke from the West coast in the sky?) but I flew.

The colours of the Spit and Soy Beans are wonderful together.

Images 1896 and 1897 are what happens when you get into the line of sight of a good pilot.

Without the A10, it's clear that England would have fallen to the Axis.

Actually, I can.
